I’ve recently heard the sound of a 2012 Nissan GT-R and trust me – it’s absolutely stunning. This marvelous sportscar is a source of thirst for tuners, proven by its high performance, good looks and stunning maneuverability. Switzer Performance have thought of adding a few bits and pieces of their own to the car and this is what came out.
Reportedly named the P600 PKG, the upgrade package raises the output of the engine from the stock 545 HP to 600 HP through the addition of their signature high-flow filters, ECU software optimizations and free-flowing SS90 exhaust. The sound of the engine has also been improved thanks to the new exhaust system tied to the broad twin-turbo 3.8 liter V6.
According to the tuning firm, Switzer Performance’s 2012 Nissan GT-R P600 PKG now accelerates from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mind-boggling 2.6 seconds. In addition, it now runs on a set of in-house designed and built Switzer lightweight forged aluminum rims shod in Michelin Pilot Supersport rubbers.
So, as a conclusion, for $12,990 you can acquire a fine tuning package that improves the car’s ride quality, handling and provides a supplementary shot of steroids.
