The summers is almost over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy a ride down the coastline in our sexy convertible. My choice for today is the new Audi S3, and the team at MTM agree with me. Audi specialist tuners Motoren Technik Mayer have picked the all-new 2014 Audi S3 Cabriolet for their latest project.

Rolling out the factory gates in Hungary, the convertible develops 300 PS and 380 Nm of torque. The engine was mated to a S-tronic automatic gearbox, enabling the Audi to get from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds, which is a bit slow. MTM’s chip tuning package improved upon that. with their modified vehicle benefiting from 360 PS and 450 Nm of torque.

As a result, the 2-liter TFSI engine now outputs more power and torque than the 3-liter supercharged V6 hiding under an S5 Cabriolet’s bonnet. Furthermore, the S3 can now do0 to 100 km/h in only 4.8 seconds. The tuner didn’t stop here, and fitted the Audi with a 44-pipe stainless steel exhaust system (3,200 Euro), 380 mm disc brakes and Nardo edition rims or Bimoto alloys as well as a KW precision-adjustable coil-over suspension system.

If you love this car, MTM will charge you €62,000, which is €13,000 over the list price of the Cabriolet. How does that coastline adventure sound now?
