Honda recently launched its 2014 Honda Fit/Jazz, but as fresh as it was, Mugen wasn’t satisfied with it, so the team decided to fiddle around a bit and here’s what the end result was – a customization package, if you’re as picky as they are; and you probably are.
We were expecting this, since about a month ago a couple of photos depicting the Mugen-fitted 2014 Honda Fit surfaced the Internet, thanks to some true tuning fans who scanned some brochures. So, Mugen decided it was time to take the wraps off their new kit, which brings an aerodynamic body kit including a roof spoiler, rocker panels, lip spoiler, rear apron, diffuser, as well as various designs of alloys available in several sizes.
The LED lights are a nice touch and worth mentioning, carbon fiber license plate holders and restyled mirror caps. For the cabin they have new floor mats, scuff plates, a carbon fiber trim, semi or full bucket sport seats wrapped around in Alcantara, along with new gauges. Rounding off the list of changes are the sport exhaust system, new air filters, larger brakes and a sports suspension. Well, not a completely new car, but close; pretty close. I bet the feel is different, and so’s the handling and overall looks and sound.
