Brabus is back in business, with their latest project: a new generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan codenamed W205. The modified sedan features aerodynamic and performance upgrades, such as a styling kit for the C-Class in standard and Avantgarde specification – with or without the Exclusive package. It includes a Brabus-specific front grille, a wraparound front lip spoiler, air intake trims for the front bumper, rocker panels optionally available with integrated LED entry lights, a rear diffuser and a discreet trunk lid spoiler.
Impressed yet? You should be. Customers are welcomed to fit their Mercedes with different tire and wheel combinations in diameters of 18, 19 and 20 inches, the latter in Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA rubber, measuring 225/35 ZR 20 front and 255/30 ZR 20 rear. At the back, a quad-pipe sports exhaust system hints on this beast’s raw power, while the lowering kit developed in partnership with Bilstein allows for a better handling.
Speaking of power, you should know that at this stage, there are two available power tune-ups for the Mercedes. The B20.2 kit for the gasoline-powered C200 will allow the driver to enjoy 225PS (222hp) and 330Nm and a 0-100km/h (62mph) time of 7.0 sec; top speed stands at 242km/h (150mph). The other package was dubbed D3 and was fitted onto the C220 BlueTEC diesel; to sum up: 220PS (217hp) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft), 0-100km/h in 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 240km/h (149mph). Inside the cabin you will also enjoy custom leather and Alcantara wraps, as well as a variety of accessories such as unique aluminum pedals. I’m happy with it!
