One of the most recent tuning packages conceived by the German car tuner ABT is destined for the limited-run Audi A1 quattro. Let’s take a peek into their work. As we know, the stock Audi A1 quattro boasts with an output of 256 HP (188 kW), all coming from a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine.
The tuned version of this small super car, though, pumps up 307 HP (226 kW), an increase of 51 HP. The torque is following close behind, reaching the impressive 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) between 2,500 RPM and 5,000 RPM, a significant bit higher than the old 250 Nm (258 lb-ft).
Thanks to these changes and to the car’s lightness, the A1 quattro does the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in 5.4 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the stock motorization model. The exhaust emissions and the fuel consumption will reportedly remain the same, as ABT has also mentioned.
