It’s hard to pick a favorite out an Audi line-up, but I think the Audi RS 7 is easily in my top 3. I think people at ABT Sportsline agree, and are teasing me with their new tuning program for the Audi RS 7. I hate them for that, but I love their work.. so let’s take a closer look, shall we?
Looking tasteful yet stylish, the Audi can be equipped with a carbon fiber rear spoiler and 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels. You may also opt out for floor mats and “integrated entrance lights.” Sure, that may be trendy, but I’m more interested in what under the bonnet. Although, I must say that the license plate scares me.
Well, under the hood you’ll find a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, the one Audi put in, but the tuner provides two performance packages. The entry-level package enables the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine to produce 666 HP (490 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 106 HP (78 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft). If that’s not enough for you, the POWER S package will get the engine developing 700 HP (515 kW) and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 140 HP (103 kW) and 180 Nm (132 lb-ft).
