Audi RS6 Avant by MTM

One of my favorite family cars has been fiddled with again – to me, it’s a family car and I don’t want to hear anything about mini-vans and other grandpa stuff.  MTM is responsible for introducing a new tuning program for the Audi RS6 Avant.

What I love about this Audi is that although we all know there’s a powerful beast hidden underneath, its tasteful and discrete design doesn’t reveal one glimpse of its beastly roots. It’s like Beauty and the Beast, under one bonnet. The Audi has been equipped with a stainless steel exhaust system, Brembo brakes and 20-inch bimoto wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

The beast mode is provided by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine, tuned to produce 722 HP (531 kW) and 885 Nm (652 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 162 HP (119 kW) and 185 Nm (136 lb-ft) comparing to the factory Audi specs. This means the car bursts from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, 0-200 km/h comes in 11.3 seconds and top speed is about 340 km/h (211 mph).

Like it? This upgrade will set you back €13,751.80 ($18,504.42), but considering you’ll taking the kids to school in an outrageous Audi – and speed – it’s totally worth it.
