The team at ABT Sportsline have been working on a new treat, for us petrol-heads. They’ve just revealed a new power kit for the latest generation of Audi S8, which increases the output of the luxurious sedan to 640 hp/471 kW and 780 Nm of torque – 120 hp/89 kW and 130 Nm of torque more than the stock model. The best of news is that the tuner has also removed the electronic speed limiter.

As a result, top speed is now 280 km/h, although no one knows what the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of their Audi is. Under the bonnet, you’ll still find the 4.0 TFSI biturbo V8 engine. No details have been revealed, but it’s more than likely that the increased performance comes as a result of ECU re-mapping. Aside from that, the tuner also included a stainless steel sports exhaust system with four tailpipes, a new set of 21-inch wheels, finished in Mystic Black or Gun-Metal, and a custom suspension system that will lower the Audi by up to 25 mm at the press of a button. This Audi is so awesome, they didn’t even come up with a price-tag yet.
