BMW 4-Series Coupe by AC Schnitzer

Like it or not, BMW gave us something to think about: keep praising the M3 Series that are going into extinction or enjoy the new BMW 4-Series. Tough one, isn’t it? Well, AC Schnitzer is trying to make our life easier – and much more enjoyable – by introducing their new tuning program for the BMW 4-Series Coupe. Should be worth at least a glance, if not the first payment.

Let’s have at it, shall we? Starting with the exterior, the BMW can be equipped with a sports exhaust system, an adjustable “racing” suspension and lowering springs that reduce the ride height by approximately 25mm; the lower, the cooler – I always say. Besides, as stock, we’re not dealing with a slow or dull car, but modified should be a whole lotta fun to drive. The company also offers a variety of wheels in sizes ranging from 18- to 20-inches. Bling-bling!

On the inside, upgrades include alloy pedals, an aluminum iDrive cover and velour floor mats. Customers can also opt out for an aluminum or leather-wrapped gear knob. So, you will not only look cool, you’ll feel cool as well. I’m curious as to what’s going on under the bonnett; here’s the answer: the BMW 428i can be tuned to produce 294 HP (216 kW) while the 435i will develop 360 HP (265 kW). Even the 420d can be upgraded to produce 218 HP (160 kW) which is an increase of 34 HP (25 kW). Not much, but the BMW looks to sleek to mind about that, right?
