BMW R69S THOMPSON BY ER MOTORCYCLES
Do you remember the Thompson submachine gun? But believe it or not, it was the basis for building this café racer, which originates from a BMW R69S motorcycle. However, the only part we can recognize from the original motorcycle is the frame. Everything else has been changed or adapted to suit the new design.
For example, they used R80’s swingarm and upper triple tree, while the engine and to gearbox come from the R100, although they have also been slightly changed. Other features the stem from other motorcycles are the rear wheel that comes from the R50/5 (the front being from Borani) and the absolutely beautiful BMW Schorsch Meier fuel tank.
As if frankensteining this bike from a number of others weren’t unique enough, the tuners included several completely custom made features such as the exhaust, beautifully classic seat, fenders and saddle bags.
Things which come from other companies include ignition system, speedometer, switchgear and digital control unit from Motogadget, as well as will the Roland Sands Design Vintage Black Ops headlight.
It riding something unique is what you’re after, you can’t go wrong with this motorcycle.
