Manhart Performance have been fiddling around with a BMW X4, resulting in a performance upgrade kit for the BMW X4 xDrive35d. The project is still in progress though, but the tuner was gracious enough to share some pics with us on its Facebook page. In its standard configuration, the BMW X4 features a 3.0-liter diesel engine which develops 313 PS (230 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque, so what about now?
Well, the garage managed to boost these figures to 375 PS (276 kW) and 740 Nm (546 lb-ft) of torque, quite close to the numbers of the tri-turbo diesel engine found under the X5 M50d’s bonnet. The standard X4 does the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 5.2 seconds, which means there will be better numbers with this improved version. Manhart will also provide customers with a sport lowered suspension and a set of Concave One 21-inch wheels in silver or black for the X4.Nice!
