Caresto Transforms A Lamborghini Into The Menacing Arkham Car
Here it come for the ridiculously good-looking Arkham Car you see right now is actually a Lamborghini at its heart. Imagined by the people at Caresto, a Swedish car and body manufacturer and design studio, this amazing car has been created for the 2016 Gumball 3000 event.
For this original Lamborghini has been stripped down, redesigned and re-built, featuring now a jaw dropping carbon fiber body, crafted thanks to full scale molds, that were milled out of CAD drawings, plus a rigid tubular frame that provides an incredible handling, a menacing vibe and definitely some extra safety.
Caresto went on to add a fully independent front and rear suspension, with double wishbones connected to the coil over shock absorbers, to make sure this thing drives smoothly in any situation. At the front, a specifically-designed aluminum push rod setup is part of the new setup as well, just in case you’ve thought that suspension wasn’t enough.
If you take a look under the hood, you’ll notice the ‘standard’ V10 engine from Lamborghini still powers up this outrageous project, allowing it to benefit from a cool 560 hp. This car riding on massive 26-inch wheels, with a wicked design.
The driver and one lucky passenger will experience a mix of black soft leather and eye-catching golden stitching, complemented by LED lighting, air conditioning, power steering and a great sound system.
