The German tuners from Brabus have premiered their latest tuning package for the new Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG these days at the Essen Motor Show. The powerful luxury SUV from Mercedes received a couple of performance tweaks that make it even faster and also improve its handling and some styling mods as well.
First, the car’s 5.5L bi-turbo V8 received a special Brabus PowerXtra module integrated into the engine electronics and a new stainless steel exhaust system. Thanks to these upgrades, the power of this engine was raised from the stock 518 HP and 699 Nm of torque to an impressive 611 HP and 820 Nm of torque.
The power of the ML 63 with the optional AMG Performance Package, that initially has 550 HP and 758 Nm of torque, was raised to the same figures, 611 HP and 820 Nm. That’s enough for an uber fast 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of just 4.5 seconds and breathtaking top speed that’s electronically limited at 300 km/h.
Next, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG also received a new custom module for the Airmatic suspension system that lowers the car’s center of gravity, new front and rear spoiler made of carbon fiber that improve the car’s aerodynamics and new wheel options up to 23″ wrapped in high performance tires.
