Ferrari 458 Italia Estremo Edizione by DMC

To browse the Web and find out about a Ferrari referred to as an extreme edition is both intriguing and interesting, Whatever Ferrari gets out them factory or dealer doors is extreme, ’cause.. it’s Ferrari. It’s that simple. However, DMC disagrees with me, which is why they’ve unveiled the Ferrari 458 Italia Estremo Edizione.

This Ferrari is supposed to be a car “without any boundaries”. The Estremo Edizione features a new front bumper, a ventilated hood, aerodynamic side skirts, carbon fiber rear fascia, a lowered suspension, a rear wing and 20- / 21-inch alloy wheels. Now, sure.. this might sound as extreme, or limitless, but why did DMC not release any pics of the interior design? I mean, they’ve been telling us that customers may order a bespoke cabin with premium leather upholstery and carbon fiber trim.

Let’s talk performance! The Ferrari features a 4.5-liter V8 engine, fitted with a new air filter, a sports exhaust system and an optimized ECU. These mods add 22 HP (16 kW) to the engine’s power – not much, and not that extreme – bringing the total up to 592 HP (435 kW). This Ferrari accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and keeps going until it reaches a top speed of 332 km/h (206 mph).

It seems DMC decided to limit production to only 15 units and for every third Ferrari model – called “Gold Edition” – there will be a mysterious extra body part. Sure, this Ferrari might look extremely cool!
