Some of you may suffer from arachnophobia or all sorts of fears of insects, but I have to admit I find many bugs to my liking. This Fiat Panda would fill a spot on my list, especially with the brand new tuning package gifted by the Italian car tuner Novitec.
The exterior of the car has received a front spoiler, attached to the stock fascia, costing €184. A rear spoiler can also be included in the package, for €150. Those ugly stock rims should definitely be changed, with a set of custom 7.5Jx17 N10 alloys garnished in matte black or polished silver, wrapped in 215/35 R17 rubbers. The complete set of wheels is priced at €1,106, or, you can simply purchase the wheels by the unit, each one for €159.
Novitec also proposes a coilover suspension system which lowers the ride height of the Fiat Panda by a customizable number between 30 and 80 millimeters. A brand new set of sports springs are also able to lower the car by 35 mm.
The 2-cylinder TwinAir gasoline engine can be fitted with a Novitec PowerJet 2 auxiliary control unit, raising the car’s output to 99 HP (73 kW). This version of Panda is able to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 10.1 seconds up to a top speed of 117 mph (188 km/h). This specific kit costs roughly €419.
There is also a Powerrail 5 module provided by Novitec for the 1.3 16V MultiJet turbodiesel motor, costing €335 and allowing the engine to deliver 91 HP (67 kW), a bit more than the stock 75 HP (55 kW). Thus, the Panda is able to sprint from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 11.9 seconds, almost a second faster than the stock model, while its top speed has been raised to 110 mph (178 km/h).
If you still have some cash left in your pocket, you can opt for sports rear muffler tips with one round 90 mm tailpipe on both sides.
