Boys and girls, we’ve got a special treat for you. This is not just any modified Mustang; the people at Galpin Auto Sports started off with a 2015 Mustang fastback and trasnformed it into an awesome vehicle – lots of custom made parts and work hours later. The Fisker Rocket Mustang is the result of collaboration between Galpin Auto Sports and Henrik Fisker, an all-time great automotive designer.
The heavily modified Mustang, a.k.a. the Fisker Rocket, looks similar to a 2015 Ford Mustang in GT fastback, but that’s about it. This vehicle features feeding fish-like front fascia, extra lights incorporated in the radiator grille, black go-faster stripes, two nostrils on the hood and an edgy lip spoiler up front. There’s also sculpted wheel arches and pumped up fenders on the sides, along with carbon fiber side skirts and a couple of go-faster vents slotted between the doors and rear wheels.
The Fisker Rocket rides on 21-inch ADV.1 alloys, while the carbon fiber round the rear and aerodynamic diffuser finish off the overall design pretty nicely. Detailed performance add-ons aren’t available, although we know that the 5.0 V8 engine hiding under the bonnet has been supercharged to 725 HP. Inside the cabin, you’ll find red leather, some carbon fiber and sill plates that read “Rocket”. The car that debuted at the LA Auto Show, and is the first of its kind – a limited series, obviously.
