Ford Focus ST by MS Design

We genuinely think the Ford Focus is one of the best sport hatchbacks in the world and here’s an ST worked out by MS Design.

Although there’s a full month between us and the Geneva Motor Show, the specialists at MS Design have recently presented their plans to introduce the Ford Focus ST Competition in Switzerland.

The aerodynamics of the car have been improved thanks to a good-looking body kit that comprises redesigned side skirts, rear diffuser and front spoiler. The car has also been mounted a brand new sports-tuned suspension, a set of alloy wheels measuring 20 inches in diameter and a tailgate mounted spoiler.

In terms of performance, MS Design negates any sort of intervention. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine delivers 247 HP (184 kW) and 360 Nm (265 lb-ft) of peak torque. Therefore, the stock-powered car sprints from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 6.5 seconds up to a top speed of an electronically-limited 250 km/h (155 mph).
