It’s been a while since we’ve last featured really high figures on our blog, therefore we’ve thought of providing you with some excess adrenaline – it comes in the shape of the Novitec Torado, a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 modified by Novitec.
The changes are quite extensive, ranging from the exterior to the innards of the hypercar. The brand provides a carbon fiber body kit consisting of a front lip spoiler, rear air scoops, redesigned side skirts, a pretty prominent rear wing, aggressive diffuser and ventilated hood. A set of adjustable KW coilover suspensions, lowering springs and 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero rubbers are also on the list, of optionals though. As for the cabin, there’s premium leather upholstery available, specially designed Revox state of the art audio system said to provide “unparalleled sound and nearly endless power” and plenty of carbon fiber trim.
And now here comes poweeeeeer! Novitec provides a variety of performance improvements which boost the output of the 6.5-liter V12 engine under the bonnet of the Aventador as follows: the engine upgraded with Stage 1 delivers 722 HP (531 kW) and 704 Nm (519 lb-ft) of torque, Stage 2 does 728 HP (535 kW) and 709 Nm (523 lb-ft) of torque, the sturdier Stage 3 raises the output to 743 HP (546 kW) and 716 Nm (528 lb-ft) of torque, while the fourth stage generates 748 HP (550 kW) and 722 Nm (532 lb-ft) of torque.
The most compelling of the lot is the range-topping bi-compressor kit which adds two superchargers to the engine, brand new injector system, modified induction tract, optimized ECU and high-performance fuel pumps. Thanks to all these, the engine now develops an astounding 969 HP (713 kW) and 912 Nm (672 lb-ft) of torque. These figures are enough to get the Lambo to sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill in just 2.8 seconds and to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 7.4 seconds!!!
