If you’re bored of your old Lamborghini, you’re truly spoiled. But, spoiled people usually afford the luxury of coming up with something new, like this Lamborghini Aventador LP988 Edizione GT, a tuning project from the guys at DMC Germany. I’m guessing this Italian toy will keep you entertained for quite a while. The Lamborghini features a custom body-kit which includes carbon fiber blades, a big diffuser, meaty adjustable wing and totally reworked front bumper.
The added body-kit will set you back a substantial $288,000, so you better keep it away from high curbs and speed bumps. The tuner also equipped the super-car with larger diameter racing multi-spoke black alloys and a new set of exhaust tips. Inside the cabin, owners will find red and black leather and a touch of carbon fiber. And, if you’re that picky, please note that DMC has completely re-engineered the 6.5-liter V12 engine of the Aventador.
After adding new fuel lines, fuel pump, high-flow injection nozzles, a twin-turbo charging system and a remapped ECU to the Lamborghini, its engine now develops 988 PS (727 kW). Gotta love it!
