Novitec Group’s Tridente has been working on a tuning program for the Maserati Ghibli, and here it is, in all its glory. The best of news might be that there’s plenty of choices for improving the engines. Starting with the diesel, the 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine has received the N-Tronic performance module, enabling it to develop 322 PS (237 kW) at 3,800 rpm and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque at 2,200 rpm. According to the tuner, this will provide with better performance if the eight-speed automatic transmission is also part of the package. 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) now takes 5.6 seconds.
The rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive Maserati Ghibli models powered by the V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine have not been forgotten. They feature the N-Tronic auxiliary control unit with recalibrated mapping for injection and ignition, plus a moderate increase in boost pressure. The Ghibli S and the Ghibli S Q4 have been tuned to 476 PS (350 kW) and 640 Nm of torque, constantly available between 1,700 and 4,900 rpm. The AWD will do 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds, while the top speed stands at 294 km/h (182 mph).
On an aesthetic level, the Ghibli has received a new set of 22-inch alloys – 3,980 EUR (4,985 USD) – available in a silver, matt black, titanium or polished titanium finish. The body-kit fitted onto the car includes a new front spoiler, a rear spoiler and rocker panels, all available for 3,120 EUR (3,907 USD). You like?
