As I’ve said before, I love the Mercedes CLA range, and I think it’s the best in its class range and price range, for that matter. Of course,  there are some picky ones among you, that find that power gap between the 208hp (210PS) CLA 250 and the 355hp (360PS) CLA 45 AMG a bit disturbing. Luckily for you, the people at Vath heard about this and decided to do something about it. Presenting: the V25 CLA program for the compact four-door coupe.

Performance offerings for the Mercedes CLA 250 include two different packages of tuning. The first package tweaks the ECU to bump output to 242hp (245PS) and 390Nm (288 lb-ft) for €940 ($1,270), while the second includes a different ECU, a sports exhaust and air filter system that results in 261hp (265PS) and 420Nm (310 lb-ft) – of course, for a different price of €4,950 ($6,680).

The more powerful package allows the Mercedes CLA to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 5.9 seconds and to top out at 250km/h (155mph). Vath is willing to offer you more, which is why there’s a lowered sports suspension available for €3,546 ($4,780), 20-inch alloy wheels in tires size 225/30 at the front and 265/25 at the back, a carbon front spoiler, rear spoilers, and several interior upgrades that include the sports steering wheel and modified instrument panel gauges.
