Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG Brabus

I have to agree, for an SUV, this Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG looks absolutely stunning. Even more, it was tuned up by Brabus.

The German Merc tuners have introduced a wide body kit with redesigned bumpers, tailgate-mounted spoiler and extended wheel arches. It also received a stainless steel sports exhaust system, high-performance braking system, suspension lowering module which reduces the crossover’s ride height by up to 30 mm (1.2 inches) and a rear diffuser.

In addition, the Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG Brabus can be further equipped with 21-, 22- or 23-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high performance Pirelli or Yokohama tires.

There are a few changes on the inside as well, but they’re strictly limited to alloy pedals, a 200 mph (320 km/h) speedometer and aluminium shift paddles. If desires by the customers, Brabus can also fit the Merc with gorgeous Alcantara or leather upholstery, illuminated sill plates and exotic wood trim.

In terms of performance, our story is very interesting – standard powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, it has now received a 620 PowerXtra kit which raises the output to 620 HP (456 kW) and 820 Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque. It is pretty fast with the stock 557 HP (410 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft), but thanks to Brabus, it just got a lot better. An SUV that sprints from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h), is quite fast indeed!
