Miami-based tuning company MC Customs has developed a new aftermarket package for the already special Mercedes-Benz S550. The garage teamed up with Japanese tuner Wald International – so you know this is a very special ride – who was in charge of providing the custom body-kit you see here. It has definitely changed the look of this S550 thanks, and it includes a bespoke front grille, bigger intakes for the front bumper while behind the front wheels are sizeable gills.
Also fitted onto the Mercedes were the enlarged side skirts, tinted taillights, reshaped rear bumper with additional vents, red brake calipers and a spoiler lip. All the windows have been tined, while the stock wheels were replaced by a set of Savini alloys wrapped in low-profile tires. There aren’t any changes under the hood, I’m sad to say. But no matter, as this custom Mercedes is still pretty damn cool.
This particular S-Class continues to feature a V8 4.7-liter bi-turbo engine, which develops 449 bhp (335 kW) between 5,250 rpm and 5,550 rpm and a peak torque of 516 lb-ft (699 Nm) available in the 1,800 – 3,500 rpm range. All that power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission. The end result is a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of just 4.8 seconds.
