Mercedes SLR Roadster by Brabus

There are many people will feel sorry that Mercedes is no longer offering naturally aspirated V8 engines. The last one was the 6.3 l units used in several AMG cars including the SLS. Well, Brabus decided not to drop the engine completely, as this is what they used for this Mercedes SLR Roadster.

The engine’s power has been increased to 700 horsepower which is a significant jump from the regular 570 horsepower. The boost comes from a new ECU and exhaust system. The suspension has also been altered and it now includes a lift system.

Speaking of styling additions, the car now has Brabus Monoblock F “Platinum Edition” wheels, new front and rear spoilers, side skirts and several new vents to go with the black grille.

On the inside, the car has a new steering wheel, the pedals and scuff plates, as well as a new speedometer which goes all the way up to 400 km/h, or 250 mph.
