The guys from Mcchip-dkr have released an upgrade program for the Mercedes SLS AMG back in September but now they’re taking it to the next level with a stage two kit of their MC700 program. Stage 1 included a mechanically driven compressor, an upgraded ECU and a high performance exhaust system from Capristo, taking the car’s power output to a breathtaking 680 HP and 568 lb-ft of torque.
In these last months the guys from Mcchip managed to squeeze even more power from the engine of the SLS AMG, thanks to a new sports catalyst and a more aggressive ECU remap, they’ve managed to take the car’s power to 708 HP and 585 lb-ft of torque with the Stage Two of their upgrade program.
Stage Two could also come with a special matte grey body wrap from CoverEFX that’s priced at 5,999 EUR ($8,000) and a new KW sports suspension with an HLS 4 system that can adjust the car’s front and rear axles back to factory height by just clicking a button. This suspension will cost an additional 12,999 EUR or about $17,300.
But these two stages of the engine upgrade are the most expensive – Stage One is priced at 69,900 EUR ($93,400) while Stage Two will cost 9,099 EUR ($12,000) – so that’s about 78,999 or $105,500 for this power upgrade.
