Minitune garage has unveiled their latest project, a new MINI Cooper S. The project was actually based on the previous generation model, and has been been equipped with a discreet body kit which includes a front lip spoiler, aerodynamic side skirts and a new rear bumper with a faux diffuser. The MINI also features a tailgate-mounted spoiler, Koni sports suspension and 18-inch Motec Nitro alloys wrapped in Kumho rubber.
Under the hood of this MINI, the turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine has been equipped with an optimized ECU, a high-performance inter-cooler and was mated to a stainless steel sports exhaust system. Which means the engine now develops 218 PS (160 kW) and 319 Nm (235 lb-ft) of torque, an increase of 44 PS (32 kW) and 79 Nm (58 lb-ft). So, if you though the MINI was fun before these improvements, you should really check it out now!
