I’m betting Richard Hammond is quite excited about now. He should be, because TechArt has decided to show some love for the Porsche 911 Turbo S by unveiling it at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The 911 Turbo S can be equipped with a TA 091/T1.1 power kit, this enabling the turbocharged 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine to produce 620 HP (456 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 60 HP (44 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft).
This Porsche will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds before topping at 328 km/h (203 mph). The power boost only kicks in when the car is in Sport or Sport Plus mode, which is a safety feature for most of us. TechArt stated that customers should expect an improved Porsche, featuring better driving dynamics and higher numbers when it comes to technical specifications. Well, how about it, Richard?
