With the upcoming 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon, most of the automotive world is focusing on creating state of the art models to show off the history and the expertise of each brand. The renowned Japanese auto show will also serve as unveiling host to the Spiral 86, Abflug’s recently modified Toyota GT86.
The upgrade package comprises both exterior and interior improvements, better looks and more muscle. Performance wise, the 2.0-liter engine has been fitted with an HKS supercharger, a water-bypass kit and PentRoof FA20 tuning program. The result is quite relevant – the Spiral 86 delivers 258 HP at 6,300 RPM and 240 lb-ft of torque at 6,600 RPM. In addition, the folk at Abflug have also mounted a brand new HKS Hipermax IV GT suspension system with new shock absorbers, Dixel brakes and brand new springs.
The exterior of the Toyota has been completed with a new front bumper, new rear bumper, new rear upper spoiler and new side skirts. A set of exclusive Abflug Prism III alloy wheels has been tied to the drivetrain, measuring 19 inches in diameter and being shod in Yokohama tires measuring 255/30ZR19 at the rear and 235/35ZR19 at the front.
