There’s nothing like a cool Golf, and the people at RevoZport know that .The team has been working on an upgrade program for the Volkswagen Golf GTI and the R version. The Golf VII has been fitted with a more aggressive body, featuring carbon fiber front spoiler lip, side skirts and rear lip along with a roof-mounted wing and a vented hood. The hot hatch also benefits from a titanium exhaust system, 50 percent lighter than stock equipment, as well as from a stage two induction and remapped ECU. As a result, the four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine now develops more than 290 HP (213 kW).
The Golf VII R features similar body tweaks, such as a carbon Kevlar composite hood with cooling vents and ducts, carbon rear spoiler and wing, as well as bigger alloys and a double deck front splitter. The tuner also installed a new intake system, titanium exhaust and ECU, which enables the four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine to output 340 HP (250 kW). Looking good, driving fast: perfect!
