One of the best known companies that specialize on Volvo tuning worldwide is Polestar Performance. They’ve caught out admiration with their latest upgrade program for the Volvo S60. The tuning package focuses on most of the car’s features – handling, aerodynamics and especially power.

It is still equipped with the stock T6 engine, which has been added a Garret 3171 Turbo plus a redesigned intake. These changes raised its maximum output to 508 HP at 6,500 RPM and 575 Nm of torque at 5,500 RPM. The beast can now reach a maximum speed of over 300 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a whopping 3.9 seconds.

All this power would’ve been produced in vain if the car hadn’t been redesigned its chassis. Furthermore, it was also equipped with Ohlins 3-way shock absorbers, a 30 mm lowered suspension, en entire array of other tweaks and a wider track. In addition, to be able to control such immense power, this S60 has also been endowed with 6-piston calipers by Brembo at the front, tied to a set of 380 mm ventilated discs.

If you’re concerned more about the looks, the car has received a new body kit with a large rear spoiler, carbon fiber diffuser and a new front splitter. The interior on the other hand has received a few luxurious touches like a new center console and trip parts covered in Alcantara.
