What we’ve got here is an absolutely staggering Yamaha YZF-R1 modified by the renowned bike tuning specialist Sesto Custom Cycles. It seems quite a felicitous project, to be honest!

The workshop, located in Stanton, California, is under Tony Sesto’s command, whose name is also sharing. He fellow has reportedly ridden the bike to virtually every Motorcycle Show in Long Beach in order to prove his bike’s functionality above its gorgeous looks.

In fact, it’s quite obvious that this bike is quite a stunner thanks to its unique looks, which we can’t really see on any high-capacity supersport 2-wheeler nowadays, let alone the hub steering it was fitted with. One word could pretty nicely describe the bike’s design – steampunk, alongside a superb paintjob which involves hues of white, brass and copper.

There has also been some stretching done to this Yamaha R1, while the rear end has been garnished with a humongous 240 mm tire, encasing a custom-manufactured rim.

Do you want to know even more? The Sesto Custom Cycles Yamaha R1 has won the acclaimed Custom Showdown Pro Builder contest. Nice, eh?
