Mansory has been a busy bee lately, and it seems they’re trying to dethrone Bentley, face to face. Bentley itself is coming to the Geneva Motor Show with the 507PS (500hp) Flying Spur V8, while Mansory is showing up with a special modified version of the Bentley flagship which features the 6.0-liter bi-turbocharged W12 engine.
Feel free to check out for yourselves what Mansory has done to individualize the Flying Spur’s appearance. Aside of the aero package, which is comprised of front and rear aprons, side skirts, and rear spoiler, 22-inch wheels shod in 295/30 rubber, the vented bonnet, two-tone body paint and re-upholstered and –trimmed cabin, there’s also a nice surprise under the bonnet.
Mansory optimized the 12-cylinder engine and its turbochargers, the software control unit and the exhaust system. Which is why the Bentley engine now develops 900PS (888hp) and 1,100Nm (811 lb-ft) – electronically limited to prevent damage to the drive train. The Mansory Flying Spur W12 gets from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in just 3.6 seconds and reaches the 200km/h speed (124mph) in 12.2 seconds; it will keep goind until topping out at 340km/h (211mph). Your move, Bentley!
