We were reluctant we’ll ever see the Romanian car manufacturer Dacia on our website, but here it is, backed by a quite remarkable upgrade package. Elia, one of the many aftermarket brands in Europe, has focused on this model, with a nice result, to be honest.

The car chosen by the Germany based Elia is the Dacia Duster compact SUV, and has been addressed two different tuning programs: the Darkster and the Color Concept.

The Color Concept brings the Duster a new matte orange foil wrap to cover the Dacia’s body and gloss black finished wheel arch extensions, rocker panels, bull bar, mirror caps, brand new alloy wheels, roof and front grille. This package also includes a few exhaust and engine upgrades, as well as a sports suspension and a black and orange themed interior.

The Darkster is limited edition and comes with a matte black wrap over the body the trip pieces, like the flared fenders, plus chrome finished grille, rocker panels, door handles, front and rear bull bars. The car runs on a superb set of matte black 20 inch rims shod in 245/35 20 tires.

Additional features provided by Elia through the Darkster program include LED daytime lights instead of the stock fog lamps in the front bumper, LED tail lamps, leather interior, ECU upgrade that increases its output by 16 HP and 28 Nm and a quad pipe sports exhaust system. The prices and availability haven’t yet been published.
