Why in the world would anyone modify an Opel, and an Astra version at that? No clue, but German tuner Senner Tuning has a new package, which should make the Opel Astra look a bit hotter. For the Opel Astra fitted with the 1.4 liter turbo unit producing 140 PS (103 kW / 138 hp) and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft) of torque – which is a coupe featuring a manual 6-gear transmission, by the way, Senner Tuning improved the engine output, enabling it to develop up to 165 PS (121 kW / 163 hp) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque.
The tuner also fitted the Oepl with a body-kit, which includes a matte black Steinmetz front grille, a front lip spoiler, side skirts in a two-tone design, a roof spoiler and a rear skirt insert; a stainless-steel muffler is also added, as well as those good looking Alutec 8 x 19 inch alloys wrapped in Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tires sized 235/35R19.
There’s also a suspension tuning part of the package, featuring adjustable damping and ride height. Opel fans will have to cough up €11,900 for all this extra coolness.
