A sporty little car that will surely make an impression – this is how we would characterize this Volkswagen Beetle equipped with a 2.0-liter TDI engine, tweaked and tuned by ABT Sportsline.

They have mainly tweaked the engine, which now delivers 168 HP (125 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque. This means an increase of 30 HP (22 kW) and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) for the bug’s motor. On behalf of these minor tweaks the Beetle can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in around 8.8 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than the stock version.

There are a few options besides the engine upgrade, like an aerodynamic body kit, high-performance brakes, a set of 18- to 20-inch alloy wheels and a sports-tuned suspension. The price for this package conceived by ABT Sportsline is currently unknown to us, as its availability.
